AIDA cooperates with anyone involved in an operational-managerial, technical-scientific and financial support capacity in the planning and implementation of local development and local marketing actions: from universities to research institutes, from local banks to regional financial holdings.
We also promote partnerships with both economic and social players and the authorities.
AIDA works with various national and international organizations committed to local development issues:
- EURADA, the European network of development agencies, with whom we have a "gentlemen's agreement" for an exchange of information on our respective schemes and programmes, for reciprocal invitations to seminars, debates and conferences, and for exploring possible opportunities for joint projects.
- OCSE, which, especially with the LEED PROGRAMME, focused on local economic and social development processes;
- FORMEZ, one of the most active supporters of local development in Italy, and one with which AIDA has a cooperation agreement to extend the observatory on the agencies;
- AUDIS, Association of industrial brownfield. Similarly to AIDA, AUDIS has grouped together local administrations, agencies and associations, research institutes and major property owners, interested in industrial regeneration and local re-development processes.
- AISLo, Italian Association for Local Development Meetings and Studies, which promotes schemes, research and experimentation on the vitality of local systems, institutional innovation and modes of government, with special focus on local systems as containers of the virtuous integration of public and private actions.
- ANPACA, National Association for the Coordination of Local Pacts and Area Contracts for Local development. It shares AIDA's aim of re-launching local development policies, making the most of the experience and tools of Negotiated Programming.
- BIC Italy Net, the Italian association of Business Innovation Centres (BICs), which started within the context of the EU to provide support and services for local networks in order to promote new start-ups and boost the competitiveness of local and entrepreneurial systems.
- Sistema Territorio, a project promoted in June 2007 by the Under Secretary for Innovation and Reform in Public Administration, Giampiero Scanu. The idea is to foster cooperation between local development operators in order to ensure the infrastructure and cultural conditions required for sustainable local development, boost the role of local autonomies and improve and innovate the actions of the Public Administration. AIDA was a member of the committee that promoted the project.
